The Concept
“GOLDRUSH” is a reality TV show that will “engage” twenty four (24) contestants in a three state wide adventure in the hunt for the famed Lugard Bullions. Lord Frederick Lugard was a British soldier, explorer of Africa and colonial administrator famed for the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorate of Nigeria. Being a governor at the time and having to oversee British interest in the Niger-area, the one-time governor was rumored to oversee swathes of gold bullion which was a veritable means of doing business in that era. One particular swathe of the governor’s bullions was rumored missing and soon lost to history…until now.
Armed with clues, maps and other devices, the contestants will go on an adventure of a lifetime solving clues, puzzles and engage in high-impact endurance challenges until the bullions are discovered. The contestant who makes the find becomes winner of the Lugard Bullions edition of Goldrush
Approach
A three state-wide high octane adventure reality TV show will feature twenty-four contestants drafted across all region of the country; these contestants will compete against each another in a series of never-before-seen tasks and events for forty five days. A single contestant will emerge will at the end of the show
GOLDRUSH reality TV show takes pride in the unexpected. The aim is to go all out to present viewer’s with a new experience in reality tv, a shift from the norm.
